The highlights of your historic stay: visit to Beaune and the wine route

Start your weekend with a getaway to downtown Beaune. Stroll through its pretty cobbled streets and enjoy the charm of one of the most beautiful towns in Burgundy. Continue the morning with a visit to the Hospices: this colorful former hospital dates from the 15th century. Perfectly preserved, it is one of those monuments that have stood the test of time and today is a must for tourism in Burgundy. Then spend a moment in the historic cellars of Maison Drouhin and taste emblematic wines of the region.

Since a stay in Burgundy would not be complete without a visit to its prestigious wine estates, we invite you to explore the Beaune countryside. From Ladoix-Serrigny to Santenay, meet the winegrowers who make our region famous throughout the world. Whether wine lovers or novices in the field, walk the famous route des grands crus and let yourself be dazzled by breathtaking landscapes.

Go back in time for a weekend of discovery in Burgundy

Start your weekend with a walk through the estate: vineyards, chateau, winery, forest ... This one in itself represents a real gem of Burgundian history. Contemplate the old buildings, let yourself be carried away by the serenity of the place and recharge your batteries in contact with nature.

What if the Abbey is not what you think it is? Take part in our great game "The Secrets of the Abbey". From the chapel to the mill, from the monastic gardens to the cellar, keep an eye out, collect the best clues and unravel the mysteries of Maizières Abbey for an afternoon.

End the day with a delicious meal and a moment of sharing. Learn more about the fascinating history of Maizières Abbey, told by two experts in the field.

Two lovers of Burgundy by your side

Since living your stay with enthusiasts remains the best way to discover a region, this cultural weekend includes guides with remarkable routes.

One is a specialist in wine-growing terroirs, the other has a doctorate in medieval history: between them, Jean-Pierre Garcia and Guillaume Grillon form the ideal duo to reveal all the secrets of Burgundy to you.

Jean-Pierre Garcia knows the region like the back of his hand: a geo-history researcher, this professor at the University of Burgundy devotes his work to the study of the local wine-growing landscape. He worked in favor of the inscription of the Climats of the vineyard of Burgundy in the world heritage of Unesco as scientific manager.

Guillaume Grillon is a specialist in medieval funerary monuments. Co-author of thematic and historical itineraries on the famous Climates of Burgundy, his current work focuses mainly on the history of vines and wine in Côte-d´Or and Saône-et-Loire.

Our site includes all the essential equipment for your relaxation. Give yourself a well-being break and relax thanks to our heated swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi and our body and face massages.

With full board accommodation, you will savor delicious meals made with fresh and organic products from our farm.

Beyond the imagined schedule, you have your time however you want. Enjoy the incredible environment of the estate: boat trip, hike in the vineyards, archery, forest bathing ...
